this was no good to have then all trigger at the same time, so an iterator cycling through the voices did the trick. Oh yeah the first part, since it was a multivoice instrument with a mono trigger triggering the individual gate voices. somebody pull the e brake on this crazy train

basically, i was getting desperate, and then it worked. I had to try so much random crap, with nothing making sense why it worked or didnt. i finally fixed it, only to have no more notes off on the output, every note was stuck. anyway i wasnt having stuck notes but i was having massive hemorrhaging backup and cpu death gurgles. I just sorted a similar problem, for a polyphonic midi project, very secret squirrel stuff.
